  7. [01:14:31] <jettero> typekey works as an open id... who knew
  8. [02:08:14] <jettero> hrm.... I'm adding openid.sreg.optional=email,nickname,.... to my openid.mode=check_immedate and openid.mode=checkid_setup urls -- and although both work (ie, authentication); neither return seems to receive any openid.sreg. data ...
  9. [02:08:59] <jettero> back in the olden days, you could remove "sites" from myopenid and then re-"register" ... you know, for testing... but I think they made it so you can only register once...
  10. [02:10:04] <jettero> should sreg servers actually resend the persona each time you ask?
  11. [02:13:10] <keturn> hmm, I think if we really made it so you can only send registration data once, that's a regression on our part
  12. [02:13:31] * keturn tries it out
  13. [02:18:59] <keturn> man, noscript really hates OpenID

  24. [07:19:21] <openid_pibb> <Blueberry> I wish typekey would work as an openid proxy though so you could use typekey sites with any openid
  25. [07:21:59] <openid_pibb> <Blueberry> and what has javascript got to do with openid? or are you talking about a different noscript, keturn?

  39. [13:52:10] <melvster> hi all
  40. [14:42:46] <jettero> hrm, claimid.com seems to leave a %26openid.mode%3Dcheckid_immediate in it's openid.user_setup_url ... that is breaking my consumer
  41. [14:44:54] <melvster> hi

  48. [16:07:09] <openid_pibb> <keturn> Blueberry: It's NoScript's anti-XSS stuff that causes problems with OpenID, since OpenID essentially _is_ a cross-site scripting operation. NoScript has trouble telling it's a consensual one and not an attack.<br>OpenID 2, more likely to use POST instead of GET and have those POSTs triggered by javascript, has an even hard time getting through.<br>
  49. [16:36:37] * keturn (n=kevint@pdpc/supporter/sustaining/keturn) Quit ("Client exiting")
  50. [16:39:22] * keturn (n=kevint@pdpc/supporter/sustaining/keturn) has joined #openid
  51. [16:52:09] <jettero> keturn, that seems correct. I use noscript and simply disabled the xss "features" since they disable otherwise perfectly legitimate redirects also
  52. [16:52:43] <jettero> (my voice does carry through openid_pibb I assume?)
  53. [16:55:25] <openid_pibb> <Matt Nordhoff> Nope. I can't see what you're saying. ;)

  81. [22:26:55] <openid_pibb> <keturn> no, we haven't maintained java libraries there in quite some time. I recommend investigating joid or openid4java.
  82. [22:27:25] <openid_pibb> <nicerobot> thanks
